September 2010: Very well-apponted apartment, and a generous breakfast offering. Guests just need to be aware of the church bells... August 2010: The perfect accomodation for visitng Leiden! It really feels like home, and more... Maria and Esther provided us everything we could need, included a great breakfast! PS: also the shower was great!!!   August 2010: Everything was excellent. Coasters for the cups - to stop staining the table. November 2009: "Maria was great, very polite and along with Esther they made a perfect cosy place for travelers. It is located right in the center of Leiden, everything in walking distance. Leiden at its best!"

November 2009: "My parents had a wonderful stay at B&B Bed and Beschuit. The flat is beautiful. There is a big, comfortable bed, a shiny-clean bathroom, a kitchen area, a dining table, and a large couch. There are even books, videos, and cds, and information about Leiden. The breakfast looked delicious and very substantial! There was even English tea, which is something one does not usually find in Dutch hotels! The flat is in the heart of the city: nothing is more than ten minutes' walk away. The food market on Wednesdays and Saturdays is superb, and there are pots and pans in the flat if you want to cook. All the major museums are near by, except the Natural History museum which can be reached by bus. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming! They are not at all intrusive, and they are there to help. It is a lovely flat, and you will be well looked after. I really recommend staying at Bed and Beschuit. Light sleepers might be disturbed by the church clock with chimes throughout the night. But... don't be put off by this: the hosts provide you with your own set of ear plugs!"

April 2009: "Maria and Esther are incredibly nice people. They are wonderful hosts. Also, the location is nearly perfect in that it is a block from the center of the city market, which is set up every Wednesday and Saturday".

April 2009: "Ideal gelegen,sowohl für die Besichtigung von Leiden, alsauch um zu Fuss zum Hauptbahnhof zu gehen und von dort z.B. in 20 Min. in den Haag zu sein.Sehr stilvoll und praktisch eingerichtet, sehr freundliche Vermieterinnen.

Ein bißchen lärmig in der nacht von Freitag auf Samstag , machte uns aber nicht viel aus. July 2008: "Absolutely lovely place in a fantastic location. The building from the outside is a wonderful old house with a beautiful modern interior. Breakfast was far more than we could everhope to eat, so we took a packed lunch for the next day. I would love to stay there again!".

2007: "Absolutely fabulous apartment inside and out. The location directly across from the Hooglandse Kerk and within a very short walk to the Burcht can't be beaten: You're truly right in the middle of the bustling city life. Inside is a beautifully renovated room with gorgeous bathroom and small kitchen block that has everything you need. We had a great time".
